We chose the powerful Kubota D1703 engine for several good reasons. This engine is a vertical, water-cooled, 4-cycle diesel engine with a capacity of 29.7 kW at 2200 rpm. HIGH WORKING RANGE
The SWE 50UF has exceptional digging forces - 34 kN (bucket) and 23 kN (arm) - easily rivaling all 5.5t excavator competitors on the market. And when it comes to its long-reach capacity, the SWE 50UF's boom cylinder design provides a ground reach of over 5.8 meters (5 845 mm) and a digging reach that's over 5.9 meters (5 940 mm) long - making this mini excavator the benchmark of its range.
A mini-excavator's versatility starts with how well it is designed. The SWE 50UF is a zero-tail mini excavator with truly compact dimensions (2 000 mm width), allowing to bring power and easy work even if very tight areas, without any compromise on safety. To reduce maintenance time and cost for the SWE 50UF, the covers at the rear and on the side provide direct access to the service points. The standard service points - for fuel, oil, and air filters - are directly accessed via the cover at the rear. So, with very easy access to the fuel tank and centralized grease fittings, these mini excavators are as easy to maintain as they are to operate.
