Main applications
Hard rock aggregates
ReachWell crushers are designed to be strong and durable(especially for hard rock crushing) with decades of expertise.
There are several factors to assess in order to select the right solution for hard rock aggregates production:
• End product: Material from jaw, quality, product calibration, final number of end products, scalper, size of the screen.
• Capacity: Final capacity depends on various things -from size of the units to feed material, whether the material is pre-screened or not, is the process in closed circuit, etc.
• Feed size: Jaw crusher max feed size limits the feed material, whereas cone crusher max fed size limits the jaw crusher selection.
• Transportability: Size and weight of the machines, whether there is an integrated screen or a removable screen module.
Recycled aggregates
The construction waste typically consist of concrete and iron as well as lighter materials such as wood and insulation. With proper equipment, the concrete waste can be separated
from the other materials and crushed to a specific grade, making it a useful construction material known as recycled aggregates.
Unprocessed crushed concrete and slag are particularly suitable for road construction, embankments, foundations and bulk fills. But once screened to clean, fine and coarse aggregates, it lends itself to a variety of uses such as making new concrete (typically 20% or more recycled material) in less demanding applications and good quality asphalt remix.
Optional equipment for reachwell crushers for recycling All reachwell crushers and screens can be fitted with optional equipment to make them best suitable for recycled aggregates production, such as
• magnet separators for removing iron from the concrete
• feeder-scalper for handling sticky material,
• Automatic Setting Control for releasing blockages and resetting to the original settings,
• various impactor breaker plates and screen meshes to optimize the process,
• wind shifter for removing light materials,
• robust apron feeder and variable screening media for the scalping screens.
Soft rock aggregates
Soft rock is commonly referred to as a rock with low or medium abrasiveness, e.g. limestone. The most suitable for soft rock crushing are Reachwell impactors with horizontal shaft impact crushers.
Depending on the capacity and amount of desired endproducts, we can recommend different Reachwell units.
Hybrid mobile crushers and screens

This mobile jaw could combine related others for a crushing train,which comprising of a primary crusher, a secondary crusher combined a scalper, is ideal to process the hard rock 500mm blast material (standard blast feed curve) raw product feed.
Its heavy-duty jaw crusher can handle virtually any type of hard rock in any climate, including the most extreme weather conditions.
The primary jaw crusher was approximately set at a 100mm closed side setting (CSS), feeding directly into the secondary cone crusher. With an in-built intelligence control system, the jaw crusher enjoys trouble-free and safe operation.
The cone crusher, with a top size acceptance of 400mm, proved more than able to handle all the in-feed material with fines at a CSS of 30mm.
The cone crusher is also equipped with a hydroset system that provides both safety and setting adjustment functions. The automatic setting regulation system not only optimises production, it also keeps track of liner wear, thus making it easy to plan liner changes and minimise interruptions in production. It represents the perfect combination of advanced cone crusher technology and tracked mobility.
With a choice of three concaves, and four bush settings to control the CSS and material gradation, the unit potentially affords the operator more flexibility.
Using intergrated scalper, it is able to produce accurate gradings at throughput rates of up to 600 tph, and is also capable of recycling mixed materials.
Also with its stockpiling conveyors, the cone crusher can be specifically tailored to a wide range of applications, including the screening of heavy overburden at a quarry face, pre-screening and scalping, recycling of construction and landfill waste and separation of cohesive aggregates.
Finally, quick set-up time and site to site transportability are integral design features that ensure the unit can rapidly process materials in any location.
An optional hanging screen is available for the production of two fraction sizes, potentially providing the operator with further avenues for a sound return on investment.
